Grow a garden filled with a blend of colorful Bell Peppers, from freshly harvested Capsicum annuum seeds. Each fruit is about 4 to 4.5 inches in diameter, displaying a glossy outer skin, and a hollow inner core. Bell Peppers are mild & sweet and go great in Mexican cuisine, stir fries and salads. They are also popularly used in Italian dishes such as spaghetti, or for making stuffed peppers as well. The plants will thrive in the Summer months, bearing dozens of Bell Peppers until the cooler temperatures of the Autumn season. Seeds can be collected from your Bell Peppers to grow new plants the year after. Pepper plants are fairly easy to grow and don't take much space in the garden. Notes This blend includes sweet bell peppers of almost every color available, including red, yellow, orange, white, purple, chocolate & green. Growing Conditions Pepper plants will thrive in the heat of summer, so they should receive full sunlight for the majority of the day, with temperatures of at least 75F or more. A soil that is rich in organic matter is best, with a pH level of at least 6.2 and 7.0. Also make sure that your sowing medium is well drained, or your plants can wilt due to being waterlogged. Water your pepper seeds daily to provide them with ample amounts of moisture until germination has occurred. Germination & Growth Pepper seeds typically take anywhere between 14 to 28 days to germinate. On average, Pepper plants can be spaced 18 to 24 inches apart from one another, in rows spaced 18 inches apart. Each color not only adds visual appeal to dishes but also indicates different stages of ripeness and nutritional profiles, with red peppers typically having the highest vitamin C content. Nutritional Powerhouses: These peppers are packed with nutrients, including high levels of vitamins A and C, potassium, and fiber. They are low in calories, making them a healthy snack or addition to meals, contributing to a balanced diet. Versatile in Cooking: Bell peppers from the rainbow mix can be used in various culinary applications. Whether grilled, roasted, stuffed, or eaten raw in salads, their sweet, mild flavor makes them versatile for dishes ranging from stir-fries to salsas. Garden Growth: Growing rainbow bell peppers can be rewarding. They prefer warm conditions and full sun, with well-drained soil. Starting seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost date can give you an early harvest. All seeds are stored in a temperature controlled facility that is free of significant amounts of moisture. Quantity - Seed Needs offers generous quantities. The vast majority of our seeds are open pollinated & heirloom, with the exception of a few hybrids. Direct from the growers. Freshness - All seeds are packaged in tear resistant and moisture resistant packaging. This keeps the seeds a whole lot fresher than the competitions selection!
